Woke up this morning...

Image
And for waking up this morning I am thankful! I woke up praising God that it's been a couple years since my last battle with cluster headaches! I woke up thankful that my father and brother took time out of their day to help me! I woke up saying thanks that I have a hard working husband who loves me and supports me! I woke up and thought of all of the friends and family who allow me to be a big part of their lives. I woke up rubbing my bump thanking God for placing His miracle of life inside. I said prayers of thanks for my Grandma who is showing love and strength while she is sick in her last days. No matter what this day brings, I am thankful!

16 weeks!

This post is a day late...but better late than never ... RIGHT? How Far Along: 16 weeks and 1 day today! Total Weight Gain/Loss: 6.5 lbs Maternity Clothes: I need some! I have a good bit for summer thanks to some sweet friends, but work is getting a bit crazy. Today, some of my students thought that my belly button was poking out...nope, just my pants that aren't buttoned! haha! Sleep: Still doing ok! No crazy dreams, but I can feel my back hurting a TINY bit from not being able to lay on my tummy or back. Memorable Moment this week: A little more than a week ago we found out that my Grandma Patty has stage 4 cancer. I found out by my sister, Erin, when I was walking through the airport. Ugh, feels a bit like your whole world crashes in. It was a blessing to have last Monday off of work. Erin and I rode up to visit her. Wow, the sweet time that we spent with her was such a blessing to us. You think you are going to comfort her, but then she comforts you. How does that...

You don't have to feel this way!

This time of year brings back memories. A year ago,  I was exhausted from work, eating clean, and trying to lose weight in the gym. It just didn't feel like I was getting anywhere! I knew there were muscles under my fluff...but where?  I had been approached about 8 months prior from my friend Julie, but I politely declined her invite to learn more about AdvoCare. I didn't want any pill...I know diet pills don't work. Well, guess what? They definitely weren't diet pills, but it took me 8 months to see and feel them work. I was fed up and wanting a change. I finally gave it a shot and listened to what her hubby had said about the AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge. I was READY to see something and feel better. I started on March 24th and FELL in LOVE! Holy cow. By day 3, my Mom, sis, and Aunt were in. The high-quality vitamins made me feel like I had finally found what I'd been missing! It was about time!!  Then, you know the story...Day 24 I had dropped 7 lbs and 6...

What is BABY Doss?

Image
We invited our parents and siblings over on Monday night to share our baby gender news! I called Just Desserts and let them know what Ryno and I found out at the dr. They whipped up a SWEET cake and I picked it up after Erin and I got home from visiting in the mountains.  Let's see what our sweet baby is! Team PINK! (Aunt Erin, my mom, me, Dossinator's mom, and Aunt Kayla) BLUE TEAM!  (Uncle Greg, Grandpa Dan, sweet Alexis, Geno, and Dossinator) BLUE! Handsome BOY!     Is he not a blessing!  Sweet son, Mommy and Daddy are so very excited about you! You have made us so happy already and we know there is so much more on the way. At times we just start smiling thinking about you. Your daddy checks in and makes sure we are ok. Your grandparents, aunts, and uncles are about to burst they are so excited. Your Great-Grandma Patty knew what you were before anyone. I hope you heard her voice whe...

Week 14 and a half!!

Image
This post is a tad bit late! I'm flying on my way to my second Success School and it's Baby Doss' first flight...we think! (Could have been one in November!) I am now 14 weeks and 3 days along! Highlights: Week 14 How Far Along: 14 weeks and 3 days today! Total Weight Gain/Loss: 5 lbs Maternity Clothes: Not fully yet! Still loving my Belly Band and maternity leggings! I seriously think they should make clothing for regular non-pregos, so when they head to dinner...Mexican restaurants especially... they can breathe! It feels like I am just really full all of the time! Sleep: I'm starting to wake up and worry if I was sleeping on my back. I am a tummy and side sleeper in general, so I am dying to sleep on my stomach. I have come up with a maneuver that will work for a couple of more weeks. Best Moment this week: I had a blast with my sis on Sunday. We ran some errands and got last minute things for TX! I am having a tiny reveal party for our parents on Monda...
