Hoot! Hoot! Check out my new bling!

Yesterday, I enjoyed lunch with two sweet friends! I loved catching up and enjoying our summer schedule together.  Heather was wearing the cutest necklace that was so unique! She shared the company and products with me, and I had to share it with you!  I made my own along with her DESIGNER expertise, we did it super fast because it's so easy, and it turned out awesome ! The company is called Origami Owl!  Here's how they started:  Origami Owl's story starts with a teenager and a dream. Our company was founded by 14 year-old Isabella in the fall of 2010. Fueled by a goal to raise enough money to buy a car for her 16th birthday, she started the business with $350 worth of babysitting money and a matched contribution from her parents. She sold her unique line of personalized jewelry at home parties and events and quickly realized that this brand has an energy all its own. People absolutely love creating and wearing personalized jewelry that h...

Blessings All Around!

This morning I woke up and had the song, "You are GOOD, You are GOOD, When there's nothing good in me!" repeating in my head. Blessings have been flowing all around me. I was able to write a check for my Haiti mission trip because of opportunities that have been given to me. I have a family who is over 50+ pounds lighter than 2 months ago. I have a husband who loves me unconditionally. I have means to provide for needs and to give to others. I am blessed. I don't think we often stop and think about the good things that God provides. I know I don't do it nearly enough. Yesterday, I was going for a run and had just hung up from a call with a sweet friend. Nothing in particular prompted me, but a sweet reminder from God that He has given me all of these things. I stood there in the middle of the living room soaking this realization in. What am I supposed to do with them? This is the question I asked God. I know He will show me the answer, but for now I...

May was also a sweet pup's birthday! While her Daddy was away playing golf we did a small photo shoot. I think she was secretly loving it! I love sweet miss Lyla!  I love how she crawls under my desk when I am working on pictures to cuddle with my feet!  I love when she hears a noise and her ears perk up to protect us.  I love how happy she makes Ryan and I when we come home. She is always super excited to see us.  I love that she goes right to sleep letting out little snores and then nudges my elbow when it's time to wake up.  She has made our life happy for two years now! Happy birthday sweet Ly-lita!

Oh How Pinteresting! I have missed you!

May, You really know how to disappear!

The month of May has been a whirlwind of life! I was looking forward to May and then it literally slipped through my fingers. I am praying that summer is a bit slower, so I can unwind a bit!  May started off with a great sewing class. I learned how to make some cute pot holders along with some pretty suh-weet hand towels! I love the bright colors! I think I need a "beach" room. Maybe that can be added soon!   Mother's Day was celebrated at a new local restaurant called Ploughman's Pub. It was delicious and full of smiles and laughter!  I definitely have the BEST mom hands down! I am beyond grateful for her!  I also continued on my AdvoCare products and continue to see incredible results! Ryan finished up his challenge down 10 lbs and over 10 inches! I am so proud of him. Dad finished his challenge on the 24th and lost 16 lbs and over 8 inches! Words can't explain how much I love what these products have done for peopl...
