How far along? 15 weeks and 3 days
Baby: The baby is as big as a navel orange!
*Baby is making lots of movements even though I can't feel them because the joints and limbs can all move now.
*Baby's proportions are becoming even more normal since the legs now outmeasure the arms.
*The avg. baby at 15 weeks weighs 2.5 oz and measures 4 inches.
Total weight gain: 4 lbs
Maternity clothes? I have been loving my maternity leggings. If you are pregnant, do yourself a favor and get some. They are the most. comfortable. article. of. clothing. EVER!
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: I have slept much better the last few nights and wake up feeling more energy than the last 3 months. This makes me happy!
Best moment this week: We know the gender of our sweet baby! On Wednesday we had our appointment, but it was hard for the ultrasound tech to see. We had all gone in and were so bummed when we weren't able to find out. Vann and I went back today to find out if he is having a little brother or little sister! Thank HEAVENS we could tell and are pumped to share with our family and friends!
Miss anything? Nope, I am enjoying this part of pregnancy!
Movement: Every once in a while I feel a little movement, but nothing regular yet.
Food cravings: I am still on my egg sandwich kick. We had some incredible steaks on Wednesday night for a celebration for my brother. I ate too much, but they were great!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I am feeling much better and haven't had any big aversions this week.
Gender: We thought we'd find out on Wednesday, but we got the news TODAY and couldn't be more excited for our . . . HEALTHY baby! We will announce very soon! What do you think Baby Doss 2.0 is?
Symptoms: ITCHY skin! Omg...I don't ever remember my skin being this dry and itchy. I am constantly drinking water and reapplying lotion!
Belly button in or out? In!
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: God bless my family. I am normally a positive happy person. I cry and then can turn around in 5 minutes and be completely fine. It's not only annoying to my family, but I get aggravated as well with these moods!
Looking forward to: We can't wait to share the gender of this beautiful baby with our family and friends!
We are praying for you little one. We love you so very much and are so excited for the miracle of YOU! It is amazing that God is piecing you together and equipping you for this world we live in. We believe you are going to do amazing things here and know you are already so loved by so many.
