36 Weeks with Maggie!

Image
Growth:  According to this weeks BUMP info,  Baby's getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on his or her own. Baby's skin is getting smooth and soft and the gums are rigid. Baby's liver and kidneys are in working order. Circulation and immune systems are basically good to go too. Baby's still in the 17.2- to 18.7-inch and 4.2- to 5.8-pound range and continues to beef up. My Symptoms:  I have had a few Braxton Hicks, but if I sit down and relax I can normally get them to stop or chill out. My feet swelled up a bit on Sunday (2 different times), so I downed some Rehydrate to help with that. I have times during the day where I can hardly breathe and then times I think "has she dropped" because breathing is no issue and I feel like I have room.  Gender:  Sweet girl!                        Maternity C lothes:  Since it's getting warmer, I have been able t...

Growth:  Grow baby grow, just go easy on mama's belly! Goodness! She is a ball of energy most times and loves to stretch out. I can't wait to meet her and hold her in my arms. Her heartbeat was strong at the dr appt last week coming in at 145. She's measuring right at 35 weeks. The average baby is around 5 1/2 lbs right now and putting on fat. She is head down, back is on the left side of my belly and her legs are pushed against the right side of my belly. I can feel her little punches as well.  My Symptoms:  After a breakdown on Monday (hormones) I have felt good. This weather is amazing and has really helped my mood. I have also been reading to prepare for the birth again, so that is helping my anxiety calm a bit.  Gender:  Sweet girl!                        Maternity C lothes:  Yes! Along with Ryan's tshirts and his gym shorts when I am home...that means this is an everyday loo...

34 Weeks with Maggie!

And just like that, we have 6ish weeks left before we welcome Miss Maggie home!  Here's the Maggie bump at 34 weeks.  Growth:  Maggie is still growing and I can tell because my belly is FULL of baby! She is around 17-19 inches and around 4-6 lbs. She should have all of her fingernails now and they reach the tip of her fingers.  My Symptoms:  I have almost kicked the cough. It's been the most annoying part of the cold I started about 2 weeks ago. I will be so happy to not cough, and I know Ryan will as well. Other than that, I have been able to breathe a bit better the last two days and that makes me HAPPY!  Gender:  Sweet girl!  Maternity C lothes:  Yep! The weather on Sunday and the past few days has been a taste of spring. I was able to go into my stash of maternity clothes from when I had Vann and use one of my favorite shirts. That was very exciting and hopefully the weather is just as good so I can use one of my dre...
