She is such a smiley baby and likes to do a little laugh. Her brother can really make her smile which is precious to watch. I will also say she is going to be a tough girl the way her brother interacts with her.
She FINALLY took a bottle on Thursday, July 14th!! It was a day that our whole family was so excited about! Maggie had only taken a bottle from me (once a full 4 oz bottle and one time 2 oz). We had lots of family members try and she wasn't about it. She would FUSS and she is not a fussy baby. This was a huge weight off our shoulders and means mommy can be away for longer than 2 and a half hours!
Her sleep is awesome. When we moved to the new house it was off and she was going to sleep around 9:15 pm and waking up again at 2:30 am and then sleeping until 7 am. Now, she seems to be back on her normal routine and sleeping from 9:15 pm to 5:30 am.
She is strong! She grabs her toys and pulls them to her mouth. She loves kisses and leans into them. Her feet are a big interest and she spends time watching her toes wiggle around.
She blows a ton of bubbles.
We are nearing the end of our 3 month clothes, but 6 month are too big. I love the brands that do 3-6 months. Her waist is so tiny, so 0-3 month shorts from Old Navy and 3 month cotton pants from Carters are what she is wearing. I am not too certain on all of the bows and girl style right now. Vann was so easy to dress and with Maggie there's all sorts of accessories. It's a learning curve for me.
She has a schedule that just naturally happened and works well for all of us. She is awake around 7:30 and naps again around 9:30 for an hour and then again around 11 am and a longer one around 2:30. I know she will drop that 11 am one soon, but I am not pushing it!
Maggie,
You make our world so bright. Thank you Lord for your gift of life and the big things you are going to do in this world.
