I am hosting this giveaway to share a great organizational product! I never knew cute and organized went well together until I met 31 and Erin Condren! It seems to me they make a perfect match. I will be giving away half of that match in the giveaway! Thirty-One is a wonderful company based on Proverbs 31! My sister became a consultant and asked me if I was interested in hosting a party! I loved sharing the bags with my friends a couple of Sundays ago. {Erin, your friendly consultant!} Here is the handy dandy Organizing Utility Tote! Side 1 with 3 pockets! Side 2 with 2 pockets! And one mesh pocket on both ends! This versatile, spacious tote keeps your clutter organized! Great for your cleaning supplies or sporting gear, or use as an everyday tote or gym bag! What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Wow, is it Friday yet? I do love that today is one of my favorite blog days. I am going to throw my pins in with what I am loving today and this MONTH! December is even better as I get older. Thank God for the greatest gift of all. Andy Stanley is going through the genealogy of Jesus at church. I love his series that we get at church. This one is called "An Unexpected Christmas" and focuses on Matthew throwing in some unusual people in Jesus' family tree. If you want to check it out, go here! You won't be disappointed! I love that we had our first round of Christmas parties on Friday and Tuesday! We enjoy relaxing, hearing stories, and telling stories. I love that we have so many friends and family members in our lives to share life with! This week one or both of us has a party on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday! I can't wait! This does mean that I have to make it to the store to get some gifts for the Favorite Things and White Elephant games along with som...

Happy Graduation To ME!

Image
YAY! I think I am finally done with college . . . unless I go back for my Doctorate. I definitely talked to my mom about possibly doing it. What's a couple more years? Anyhow, we got up this morning after sleeping in a bit from our late night the evening before! I got ready which consisted of sewing a button on my cardi, steaming my grad gown, and finding a pair of tights that didn't have a run. We hopped in the car and headed to pick up Mom, Dad, and Greg. Erin had a mean stomach bug, so she didn't get to come. Thankfully she feels better today! The drive to Dahlonega is gorgeous. When you see the mountains peek over the foothills, it makes the drive worth-while. We stopped at Chick-Fil-A for our quick lunch. We always have great laugh while others look at us wondering what could possibly be funny! Funny = my family! I got dropped off 45 minutes prior to graduation and found my group and spot in line! It was so nice there were others from the other cohort. My group wasn...

Ladies, Join The Movement

Beautiful! This reminds me of my wonderful mother. She is the best example I know of a lady! I am so very thankful for her. My New Year's goal and my life will hopefully be to reflect Proverbs 31! There is more to life . . . giving, living pure, and sharing God's love! Live it out DAILY!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

There is certainly so much to be thankful for! Here's what comes to my mind this week: *I am loving my job! My students are like little adults and a microcosm (don't you love that world - I learned it in college) of what we are like in the "real" world. They say the darnedest things. Recently they have started calling my Mrs. Dossy or Mrs. Doss-a-pus ***I correct them because frankly that sounds gross, but I can't help but laugh inside***. *I am loving GIVING! Ryan recently made me a deal in order for him to clear our closet before his side of the closet was stolen by my side! It consisted of boxing up things I don't use or wear anymore. I have a tinch of hoarding in me. Yes, I said it! I admitted it! I never knew this until I got married! I like to shop and never throw much out of my closet! **Don't get me wrong - I am not one of the crazy ladies stepping over piles of stuff and boxes to the ceiling. I just have a lot hanging in the closets.** I packed up...

An Email I Received - Santa Is Alive

Image
The email gives no author, but the message is real! Give without remembering, receive without forgetting. I remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma. I was just a kid. I remember tearing across town on my bike to visit her on the day my big sister dropped the bomb: "There is no Santa Claus," she jeered. "Even dummies know that!" My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled to her that day because I knew she would be straight with me. I knew Grandma always told the truth, and I knew that the truth always went down a whole lot easier when swallowed with one of her "world-famous" cinnamon buns. I knew they were world-famous, because Grandma said so. It had to be true. Grandma was home, and the buns were still warm. Between bites, I told her everything. She was ready for me. "No Santa Claus?" she snorted...."Ridiculous! Don't believe it. That rumor has been going around for years, and it makes me mad, plain...
