Our small group is the best! I am bummed that we only have around 9 months left with these wonderful people! For our Christmas celebration, we all brought some yummy foods and delicious desserts along with $5 gift cards to play White Elephant with! We all enjoyed a game Kristen shared with us last Christmas. The boys finally won a round of it. The girls truly kick butt!

Danielle and Matt were wonderful hosts!

Thank you Jesus for being our Savior. You covered our sins with your blood and gave us life.

Thank you God for sending your son to Earth. We would have NO hope without you and your selflessness. Thank you for giving him to an un-perfect family with a line of genealogy that doesn't look like God.


Thank you Mary for having faith in God's plan and enduring the unthinkable.


This Christmas. . . it's not about what we've done, but what GOD has done for us. What gift could you possibly have under your tree that is as priceless as that?

It's almost Christmas, and if your family does it up like mine these pins may be a slap in the face. I need to post them for me. This week we've been to 4 Christmas parties which means I have eaten Death by Chocolate, Gigi's Cupcake, Oreo Balls, and Candy Bar dessert to name a few. I feel dirty! Thank God we have a break before Sunday to continue our clean eating!

Back around Thanksgiving, I decided to buy fabric on black Friday. I know, of all the deals I could have gotten . . . fabric? I did get an amazing deal on this fabric. It was 50% off and I bought 5 yards. I walked out of JoAnn's with Mom and a confidence that these curtains would be made before Monday. WRONG!

Life happened. It feels like the weeks before Christmas, Spring Break, and Summer Break are the BUSIEST times of my job!

Needless to say they did get finished over this weekend.

Is the fabric not gorgeous? I've been taken away with the idea of red and turquoise . . . LOVE IT!

NOW, what to put in this room?!? Don't worry! I have a couple of ideas up my sleeve!

On Tuesday night, I headed north to meet my hubby for his annual office party. I love seeing everyone in the office. They are a great firm with LOTS of personality!

This year Zach and Ryan were on the Social Committee again and decided to change up the party scene. It was held at Mellow Mushroom in downtown Gainesville.

This is perfect for Ryno who loves PIZZA, and I haven't made pizza for him since August!

Every pizza on the menu was ordered along with some fantastic appetizers and delicious cookies for desserts!

Then, it was time for the White Elephant gift exchange. I opted not to play this year because I had four more parties after this one that include buying gifts. Ryan decided to buy some Crown Royal for the game, as it is approaching tax season and many like to relieve their stress! It proved to be one of the more popular items and someone else even brought the same thing.




We enjoyed it as always! I am so proud of Ryan and his career choice. He really loves it, and I love the people he works with. I know the hardest part of being an accountant and an accountant's wife is coming up with tax season, so say a quick prayer for all of them. I know they'll appreciate it!
