Halloween Fun

In mid-October we headed out to the pumpkin patch to choose a large orange symbol of fall to carve with our friends! Our small group had decided to meet and have a fun Monday to enjoy everyone's company. We had a nice dinner at Mirko's Pasta in Athens and headed over to Kristen and Adam's to carve away. We all had a different idea of something to carve and they turned out super cute!

Then, last week we enjoyed a Halloween party at Sara and Nathan's home! They did the coolest job decorating for Halloween ALL over the house! There were cob webs on the chandeliers, bats on the wall, green lights, fog machines, and Halloween music. We had yummy snacks and creative costumes! Ryan and I were Lucy and Ricky! "Lucy, I am home" and "you got some 'splainin' to do" were said for sure!

{He is so handsome with that wave!}
{Our whole group: Salt and Pepper, Steve Jobs and his iPhone (I need a close up of her shirt), Lucy and Ricky, and Olive Oil and Popeye!

The donut eating contest was a highlight of the night! What a hilarious game Danielle had us play! We could hardly bite the donut because of all of the laughing we were doing!
The boys were serious about this! What a great night! I loved when trick-or-treaters would come! I may have freaked them out when I walked out and had them fill up with handfuls of candy!

Happy Halloween!

  1. Love the pictures and all the costumes! The donut game looks hysterical! I'm definitely keeping that in mind for future parties :)
