Well, it's week 13 (1/3 of the way there) and to celebrate I got to hear the baby's precious heartbeat. It was beating at 152 BPM and sounds loud and proud! I am also excited because in two weeks we will fingers crossed know what our bundle of joy will be. What's your guess?
Highlights: Week 13
How Far Along: 13 weeks today!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 4 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Just rocking the Belly Band. I realized last week that the same company makes them for $16 at Target and $32 at boutique stores. Are you joking? I love them.
Sleep: the dreams didn't bother me this weekend, but this past week it was all about BUGS. Gross worm bugs. What in the world?
Best Moment this week: I loved spending time with my family at my brother's birthday. We enjoyed Ted's Montana Grill. So yummy! I always forget it's there, but glad Daddy brought it up! Mom made an ice cream cake...MADE it! How cool it that?
Gender: 2 MORE WEEKS! Hmmm...
Food Cravings: Pickles! Pickles! More Pickles. I think I smell like pickles! I am also loving some yummy raw veggies and smoothies! My favorite kind of smoothie has strawberries, blueberries, banana, almond milk, and a small tbsp of peanut butter. So good!
Food Aversions:still grilled chicken...missing it as a healthy choice. Had turkey burger patties tonight.
How’s Mama? Doing well, but SLEEPY! Man, if I would only make myself nap when I get home. Just not a napper...feels like I waste my day!
What I am looking forward to: So much. Designing a nursery. Finding out boy or girl. Heading to TX in two weeks to see George W., Michael W. Smith, and Andy Andrews! Feeling Baby Doss "kick".
Our Baby in Veggie/Fruit Terms: Our sweet baby is getting bigger. Now Baby's head is 1/3 the size of it's body. I love this, little Baby has fingerprints and vocal cords are forming! Also, the intestines are making their way from the umbilical cord to the tummy.
Our message to you: Sweet blessing from Heaven, thanks go to God for forming you and knitting you together so perfectly. It is truly amazing how fast you have grown. Your parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles are so excited to meet you!
