Your LOVE Never Fails

By Mama’s Minute - 4:02 PM

The song "Your Love Never Fails" has been my battle cry since mid-October. Any time I hear it I am reminded of the power of our God. He doesn't change. He is the same each day...new mercies granted to us every. single. day. That is powerful.

Today The past 5 days I have been stuck in bed. The nasty FLU has reared it's U.G.L.Y. head. I have kept it on the DL because I hate reading about people's bad colds. The fact is I LIKE TO READ POSITIVE things, so I make sure to post POSITIVE, UPLIFTING things. It just brings you down when people let you know over and over again that they feel bad and there's nothing anyone can do. I visited the Dr. and am making progress on my meds...now back to my point.

Since I have been stuck here...I have been enjoying watching Passion 2013 Live from the GA Dome. You can watch here.  Now, where was that when I was in college. Y'all it's amazing! I absolutely love that there are tens of thousands of 18-25 year olds in ATL learning, praising, and worshiping our LORD. He is good.

I just finished listening to Francis Chan and HE was absolutely right on. One thing he continuously said was...Why is that we believe His promises of blessing, but not His promise of punishment. God clearly says both. Check out this verse . . .  Matthew 10:32-33.
32 “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.

NOW...finish it by reading the very next verse...

33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.

Wow guys! It's serious. God means it. Something super strong hit me...I NEVER want God to deny me, so why do we tiptoe around our beliefs in God. Maybe we talk a ton about Him with people we know believe in Him as well, or those that we feel comfy, but what about those that we know are very set in one way. Guess what? They are not afraid to speak about why they don't believe, so why don't we STEP UP and publicly acknowledge our GOD. He has saved us from every sin. He who was sinless gave us the everlasting gift of life. It is just that simple. amazingly. simple.

Going into this New Year...my goal is to PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGE GOD!

That doesn't always mean using words...only when necessary! Actions often let us speak even louder.

So, here's to Him who we owe it all to.
